    Hi all 🌸

I’m looking for book recommendations for a very specific and honestly quite painful situation.

I’m on the verge of a breakup after many genuinely beautiful years – we’re both in our mid 30s. There’s no big betrayal or dramatic event, it’s more this quiet and growing realization that something isn’t fully aligned anymore. And that’s exactly what makes it so difficult.

I feel torn between staying in something that is safe, familiar, and still full of love in many ways, and choosing the unknown because there’s this persistent feeling that I need to find myself again.

It’s not about wanting someone else. It’s really about wanting to reconnect with myself, even if that means letting go of something good.

I’m especially looking for novels or philosophical works rather than typical self-help. Stories that explore identity, letting go, or choosing yourself. Books that focus more on internal conflict than external drama. Anything that feels honest, a bit raw, and maybe even uncomfortable.

Philosophical classics, literary fiction, or anything that stayed with you during a similar phase would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you.
