I'm in a season where life is kicking me around in all directions and just feels all too hard. I'm stressed, burnt out, and my brain needs a break. I'm turning to books to try and find a little relief, so I'd love to know what book do you reach for when you need a literary hug (that's not Becky Chambers, I've turned there in the past)?
Could be fiction, could be non-fiction, could be anything in between. Just looking for something to help me through. Thank you in advance.

My go-to comfort reads:
1. The Dungeon Crawler series because they are funny and have a talking cat.
2. Books that feel ethereal like Piranesi or Starless Sea. They have a weirdly soothing effect on my brain
3. I just got a book I’m saving for the next burnout called Something in the Woods Loves You. I liked the cover and the topic (mental health recovery). I can’t say for sure how good it is though because I haven’t read it yet.

*The Emperor’s Soul* by Brandon Sanderson. Engaging, creative, thoughtful, and wholesome.
