I was hoping someone could give me some recommendations. My work has a book club and we take turns choosing the book we read and it’s my turn. I have absolutely no clue what to pick and want to choose something good. Everyone has different tastes.
I know you can’t please everyone but I’m just looking for books that are generally considered well liked. Preferably something in the genres of sci-fi/dystopian, fantasy or a general fiction with an interesting plot. It would also be ideal if it had a good female lead as the club is mostly women but that’s not necessary. Probably best not to be part of a series and I think I would prefer to avoid plots that are just romance.
Any and all recommendations would be appreciated, I guess I’m really just asking if there’s any books you love and would recommend to a book club of people with different tastes that would generally go down well?
