It came up dinner last night that she's never read a Stephen King novel. That hurts my heart! She mostly reads Kristen, Hannah and Colleen Hoover etc. She's also a 37-year-old mom with 4 and 5-year-old boys, who's also a teacher, so I don't want to hand her The Stand and completely intimidate her with its sheer size! I want the first time she reads. Stephen King to pull her in like it did me! I read The Shining when I was in my early teens and I've been hooked ever since. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
