Book for someone that loves manga

Hey yall,

I want to get back into reading actual books but I have no idea where to start and what to read, it's for some reason a little intimidating.

I love reading manga, and I just finished goodnight punpun, which I loved. I have read perks of being a wallflower and it's kind of a funny story, which I loved those books as well. I want to read something dark, such as goodnight punpun, thats also sort of slice of life.

Fantasy and sci-fi books are hard for me to get into, as they cover a lot of stuff that can be difficult to remember or imagine in my head.

What's a book that's dark like goodnight punpun, or books similar to it's kind of a funny story and perks of being a wallflower
