Hi, my mom and I are going to make a booktok. Just thought this would be fun to do with my mom. She does already have a huge social media presence (she's in pageants), and I'm more laid back and introverted.
We both read a lot. I collect books and she used to strictly only listen to audio books. We both have e-readers. I have a Kobo and she has a kindle now. I'm a Millennial and she's Gen X so we thought it would be fun to have an account that has two diff generations with different perspectives on things. Our book tastes are different, too. We both like horror, I like slow books, she likes faster paced books, I don't mind books that me cry or are just dreadful altogether and dark, she's currently reading Fourth Wing, I just finished The Ruins. So a good mix.
The thing we're struggling on is a name and unique video ideas. We have a few ideas for posting but I wonder what you guys feel like is missing from booktok or that you never see and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for cool vids, and any punny book names?
