Hi all, please recommend me some books! I am a huge fan of sad books and I love angst. Looking for something that will make me feel the same way stories like The Song of Achilles, Brokeback Mountain, and Call Me By Your Name do. The Burning Kingdoms trilogy. It’s a really fantastic fantasy series with a solid plot and cast of characters. The romance is a very delicious slow burn woven through the books that is really devastating at times

They Both Die at the End trilogy, although maybe not as angsty as some.
Ariel Tachna Partnership in Blood series, first book Alliance in blood. This is urban fantasy so if that isn’t your thing, ignore.
