I just finished reading The Secret History with a friend for our little two person book club. We loved the beginning with the dark academia vibes and the allusions to madness and Greek references. We also loved the semi cult vibes but we didn’t love the extreme slow burn and didn’t love the direction it took.
Are there any dark academia books that have plot points of cults, madness, psychology of group think. Etc? Something that feels layered, slightly literary, and luxurious with a hint of sinister.
