Suggest me books for those who are into the Laszlo Kreizler series
The Alienist and Angel of Darkness are my two favorite novels of all time. I love everything about it from the story to Caleb Carr’s writing style. Any recommendations based on this? Fiction only please!
I also love these books and have searched for titles that are similar. You could try Anne Perry’s novels both Monk and Thomas Pitt (separate series, separate detectives) if you’re looking for a similar time period.
John Connolly’s Charlie Parker series is a great option! While set in Maine starting in the 90s (I think), they have similar arc and feel to them.
Another I might suggest, which isn’t really close to The Alienist at all, is called The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova. It’s dark, it’s dreamy, and it’s about Dracula. Win/win!
