Looking for a book about Arthur Conan Doyle

I am looking for a good biography of Arthur Conan Doyle. Throughout the years, I came across bits and pieces about his life, a combination that sounds wild. From helping to disprove Koch´s cure for tuberculosis, to writing Sherlock Holmes, to being involved in politics, to believing in mysticism, and then also falling for the silly fairy hoax. I would like to learn more about his life in a compelling way, so I´m looking for a good biography that isn´t too academic. Thanks for your help 🙂
