A platonic relationship, the couple bound by a shared passion for art instead of sexual attraction to each other. It is a symbiotic relationship, the artist draws inspiration from the muse, then the muse performs or models the art the artist creates. It could be something like Pygmalion and his statue. They may not even end up in marriage or other happy ending, but they definitely end up together making great art. Photographer/model, choreographer/dancer, composer/singer, director/actress, tailor/fashionista, even writer/courtisan (like Moulin Rouge/La Traviata) are all good examples.
