I'm sure its been said here before many times; I used to read a ton when I was a kid, but then lost passion for it as a teenager. I would really like to get back into reading, mostly for enjoyment, and also because I think it will be good for me.

Here are some examples shows and movies that I like, so you have something to base your reccomendations on:
    Game of Thrones
Attack on Titan (Recently finished, and has been a favourite of mine since I started it)
Andor (really enjoyed the more mature storytelling and themes compared to the rest of star wars, although there were moments where I lost track of the plot.)
    – Other star wars (when its good)
    House, M.D.
    Severance
Dune (2021/2024 versions) (although it took a couple times watching it to fully understand)
    – Both Blade Runner movies
    – Comic book movies and shows (when they're good. some of my favourites are the guardians of the galaxy movies, daredevil, infinity war, Logan, and the batman)
    Frieren
    – Arcane (mainly season 1)
    Invincible

these are just some examples the types of stories I have enjoyed, but I'm fully willing to break outside of my comfort zone and expand my interests, so feel free to recommend stuff thats completely different to these!

If anyone can suggest novels, graphic novels, or any other books that you think I would enjoy, I would greatly appreaciate it!

Severance made me think of The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch. Feels like a system trying to contain something way bigger than it understands.

A Fair System, Probably is close to that Severance vibe, too. It’s basically people moving through a system at the end of the world, with rules, roles, and someone keeping it all running.
