Hello all, I'm used to reading those romantic sexy books and lately I've been wanting to expand and read different stuff. My wife has a copy of Animal Farm and for some reason, I was never required to read it in school. I have lots of downtime at work so if possible I will finish it today and be able to give my thoughts after. All I know is that it's about Russia and Stalin. I'm excited! I'll check back in later with my thoughts everyone!

Oh man you’re in for a trip! I went into Animal Farm completely blind too and it messed me up in the best way possible. Like you know it’s supposed to be this political allegory but when you’re actually reading it you get so invested in the animals and their little farm drama that you forget it’s all a metaphor until BAM – reality hits you in the face
The shift from romance novels to Orwell is gonna be wild, I did something similar last year going from webtoons straight into 1984 and my brain needed a minute to adjust. Animal Farm is way more accessible though, you’ll probably knock it out in one sitting at work easy
Can’t wait to see what you think of Napoleon vs Snowball, that’s where things get real spicy
Just remember that all animals are equal. Some are just a bit more equal than others.
