Something dense in meaning and beautiful in words. The clever turn of phrase that begs multiple visits and feeds you with a painting of new colors each time. But a book still light enough to carry every day through travels so it can stay by my side.

I have been reading The Unselected Journals Of Emma M Lion and it makes me hungry/nostalgic for something that is rare.

The writing itself has such poetically beautiful moments but there are two characters, Emma and the vicar, who just…they truly spend time with words and devour books into their souls.

I want a book that is full of beautiful moments or that magic when words strung together in the correct order can take your breath away.

And I want it pocket sized and to have multiple authors. And to take it everywhere I go. (because I crave it now and I'm about to travel for a few weeks and book I can reread is most ideal)

I'm not sure if this means poetry, or and anthology. All I can say is I've struggled with the classics and tend to read fantasy or historical romance so I'm out of my depth.

The only book that I've read which has maybe come close was Anthony Doerr 's shower stories in Memory Wall. Such a good writer.
