Hi all! I'm looking for books that focus on matrilineal relationships where the mother/grandmother is a source of healing or participates in cultural practices that feel like connecting/kinship. I'm thinking such as in Like Water for Chocolate where Nacha teaches Tita how to cook and they connect/heal through that (mother figures are fine too, such as in this example!)

Preferably fiction but non-fiction is great too. Bonus points if it's multigenerational through the matrilineal line or if it's also postcolonial

    Thanks!
