Not adult like smutty, just a book not tailored to kids/teens. I started reading a LitRPG thinking itd be similar to what im looking for but apparently I was mistaken lol…
I pretty much want to play Dungeons and Dragons but in book form (preferably ebook so I can check it out on libby,) and id like it if it were kinda recently published (preferably within the last 10 years but at long as it wasnt written in like the 80s thats fine.)
Anyone have any suggestions? I found a few but they were old and weren't available as an ebook
Thanks!:)

have you tried the “destiny quest” series? it’s literally d&d in book form with character sheets and everything, and i’m pretty sure it’s on libby!
r/interactivefiction isn’t exactly for books, but is for text-based games that might be more like what you’re looking for?
Building stories by chris ware could maybe be the domestic version of this.
“Romeo and/or Juliet” and “To Be or Not To Be” by Ryan North are multiple-choice retellings of Shakespeare plays.
“Life’s Lottery” by Kim Newman
