for example: ghosting you by alexander c eberhart. the main character can see and talk to the ghost of his dead best friend and isn’t about solving a mystery or its in a scary way, he just sees his best friend and ends up in a weird relationship drama situation.
I’m cool with it if there is some horror/mystery/thriller elements like in the black phone by joe hill/ the movie franchise, but i lean more towards the side of the character being like, “yeah I can see and talk to ghosts. anyways, here is what’s going on in my life aside from that.”
