For context: I have a pretty good basic understanding of western philosophy thanks to classes i’ve taken in the past, and am familiar with virtually all the main areas of thought & thinkers. I’ve just started reading more in order to further this knowledge, but there seems to be so many books, by so many authors, covering so many things! I don’t know where to go next. So far I’ve read (and enjoyed):
-The Symposium by Plato
-Man and His Symbols by Carl Jung
-The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels
-Existentialism is a Humanism by Jean-Paul Sartre
-The Stranger by Albert Camus
What are a couple of books I should read next? Thanks!
