My partner and I are celebrating St Georges day this year (the day of books and roses).
I want to give him two scifi books – Project Hail Mary is one – he keeps suggesting watching it because he knows it's a popular new film and I keep making excuses. Today I said things about Ryan Gosling that were deeply unkind to avoid seeing it 😅🫣
Anyway, he is getting back into reading after a long hiatus and has read a bit of classic Scifi Asimov, Arthur C Clark and the like. He also read the first Murder Bot books this year and seemed to like them well enough.
He says his attention span isn't great – so I'm thinking something more modern with a strong grabby plot to keep him engaged. I don't read any scifi, so have no idea – please help?
