My 15 year-old nephew says he hates reading and can’t get through a book without pictures. I think he just hasn’t found the right book yet, and I’d love some help finding books he might be into.
As far as school books go, he says he really hasn’t liked anything he’s had to read. He specifically called out not liking The Giver or The Outsiders. He did say he kind of liked Animal Farm though.
Other stuff he’s into — he loves Star Wars and is very into sports. He knows so many sports stats past and present, especially baseball, hockey, and football.
Any suggestions?

Look into the Darth Bane trilogy, it’s a Star Wars series about a Sith villain. Easy to read, good action. Should be fine for his age
There are Star Wars books that haven’t been adapted into movies. I’ve heard “Darth Plagueis” is really good.
Edit: it’s about Emperor Palpatine’s master.
I read Moneyball when I was 15 and absolutely loved it as a non-book kid. It’s a mostly true story about the Oakland Athletics and how their GM assembled a team that could compete with a very small budget.
