I loved the show The White Lotus & I’m looking for books similar to it!

Books with satire/commentary on white privilege/class, vacation or getaway whodunnit, & explorations of identity with unsettling/spooky undertones.

I also LOVE reading about rich people being terrible people there’s always so much drama!! Speaking of drama, dysfunctional/complicated family dynamics hook me right away. Same in terms of friendships as well.

The books don’t have to include all in one, I’m just looking for books with similar themes & tropes!

I don’t read much literary fiction but I’m thinking litfic with thriller or horror elements could have some similar books as well?

Not too sure what genres I should be looking at other than thrillers or horror because of the unsettling & creeping tension vibes of The White Lotus with ofc the murders in the beginning but I’m open to any genre!
