Looking for something where the theme of fitness is embedded as a secondary storyline. Would help me continue my reading but also hopefully help break my workout slump.
Not like “(s)he starts every morning with a run to clear her head” okay that’s fine but it’s not motivating.
Fiction preferred but would take a well narrated nonfiction
I really liked Cheryl Strayed’s Wild, it made me want a hike all while observing the theme of overcoming her personal obstacles.

Have you read A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson? Also Felicity Cloake’s One More Croissant for the Road. Both non-fiction.
I was also inspired to get out and hike by Wild! This is a cool idea for a post. There’s a book called The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter, and it is nonfiction, but he does some storytelling throughout the book. It was extremely motivating to me
