As the title suggests, I’m looking for authors who have a similar writing style to Freida McFadden. I have just gotten back into reading have become obsessed as of late with her books and I know people have mixed opinions on her writing/books, but I like them because they are simple and fast reads and that’s all I have time for at the moment.
I looove thrillers and I don’t like books that have too many characters. Any recommendations for me?

Shari Lapena- very fast paced and easy to read. Not quite as twisty but really enjoyable. Also Kiersten Modglin- the arrangement series was really good and all of the other books I’ve read by her are very engaging and fast paced
James Patterson and Maxine Paetro write a San Francisco female detective series that is fun with some similarities to McFadden books.
