Looking for books where a secret or hidden culture, society, community lives/exists parallel to ours with the characters walks the line between. Something like the Dresden Files, or Constantine (of DC comics fame), or even The Adjustment Bureau (as an example from film).
I’m not interested in books where the MC is from “our world” but moves over and exists only in the “secret” (à la Harry Potter).
Any and all genres are welcome, it doesn’t need to be restricted to fantasy!

Maybe “The Bookeaters” or “Saturnalia”. Both were interesting. Preferred The Bookeaters as it was very unique
The Talisman by King and Straub
Almost anything by Seanan McGuire
Naomi Novik’s scholomance trilogy has the secret school thing a la potter but after graduation the characters live very much between the magic enclaves and the normal world, with the two worlds being deeply intertwined
Our book club loved *When The Ghost Dies*…really cool concept.
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
Ninth House and Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo
