Honestly, this felt like the worst book by Freida. The story just doesn’t make sense. I couldn’t understand how Brooke could be so clueless throughout almost every chapter.
Also, can someone explain why Shane and his mother murdered the Gifford girl? That part felt so unclear and random.
I kept flipping pages hoping it would get better, but it just ended up being disappointing.
