Hi all, I'm going through the hardest days of my life right now: chronically ill for 2,5 years now and I lost literally everything due to that illness: my job, my social life, my health, and the most difficult is that I recently also lost my partner after being together with 9 years (and also my house and my financial security with him – it's been a blast).
Due to my illness (dysregulated nervous system/long covid) I am unable to distract myself (I love playing sports, but I can't; neither can I meet with friends). And I normally read romance books but well – that doesn't work for me now.
Unfortunately, right before my breakup I just finished the Harry Potter series, which was very suitable for a re-read. But a bit too soon to read again. Do you have other suggestions with no romance plot to not get me triggered?
