I don’t know if domestic thriller/horror is the right name for what I’m looking for which is why I’m struggling to hit the mark on what I’m interested in reading when searching lol.
I love thriller & horror books that explore the complexities of motherhood through postpartum depression/psychosis, especially new mothers. Or even just commentary on motherhood in general but through a thriller or horror lens
Another one I live for is the *horrors* of being a stay at home wife/mom & explorations of how women lose their identities in their husbands & children to the point where…things get spooky…
I also enjoy suburbia but with weird shit going on while everyone acts like everything is perfect…& it’s even better when the characters are rich/wealthy because they’re most likely terrible people & I eat up the drama!!!
