Hello everyone!!! I'm currently doing my research to write my first book and I would like to add some scenes about dance as I love dancing. I dance ballet, flamenco and contemporary (I'm not the best one in any of them but I love it), I've also done some pole dance.

That's why I'm here, as the few times I've run into a dance scene in a book… It's very poorly written. And if I had to write one, it would feel too technical. That I already know how to do it (at least if you want to dance ballet, it's kind of a must hahaha being able to enunciate step by step), I would love to read some book where it's described more fluently, in that perfect middle ground where the dance is actually described (so you can see in your mind what it's like) but in a way that doesn't feel like it's: piqué, sou-sus, developé, envelopé, attitude, arabesque… I've already read that, not cool. That's the average ballet class, not a beautifully described dance scene in a novel.

It could be romance, it could be fiction, historical, it could be ballet, flokloric, ball, it could be WHATEVER, I'll take anything!! As long as it's a dance and there's a scene describing the moment, I'll read it!

    Thank you very much 🩷
