For the past 12 months I've pretty much exclusively been reading a lot of complex, heavy and often long literary fiction, both classic and contemporary. I've made my way through The Brothers Karamazov, War and Peace, 2666, The Grapes of Wrath, the collected works of Yukio Mishima, The Recognitions and a couple of books by Jean Paul Sartre. As incredible as they were, they were also…a lot lol, and I've been feeling a little mentally exhausted by my reading choices.

I'm looking for recommendations for fun and breezy reads, preferably in the mystery/thriller/action-adventure/scifi genres, something to change things up a bit and cleanse my palate with. Will consider just about anything. But my one request – please don't recommend Project Hail Mary (have been recommended it previously for similar requests) because I hated that book.
