Looking for book recs with strong Caduceus Clay-adjacent vibes: fungal magic, decay as part of life, necromancy, death/growth cycles, quiet spirituality, graveyards, rot, weird nature magic, gentle-but-unnerving atmosphere, etc.

    I’m especially into:

    • mushrooms / spores / mycelium
    • necromancy that feels earthy or sacred instead of flashy
    • themes of decay, renewal, and reverence for death
    • soft, eerie, melancholic, or comforting tones
    • oddball healers, morticians, grave tenders, or nature cleric energy

Open to fantasy, horror, gothic fantasy, weird fiction, or even sci-fi if it fits the vibe.

Basically: what should I read if I want something that feels like a mix of fungal magic + peaceful necromancer + cemetery druid?

Bonus points if it’s beautifully written or emotionally strange. I'm obsessed with dead-people tea, and my D&D characters are all mushroomy and deadpan. Looking more for vibes than specifics?
