I recently read Ronan Farrow's Catch and Kill. It read like a thriller. I could not put it down at one point.

Does anyone have any recs for similar books or styles of writing? I would prefer non-fiction.

It’s an older story, but I thought The Smartest Guys in the Room: The Amazing Rise and Scandalous Fall of Enron was very good.

I absolutely loved Catch and Kill and totally agree with your assessment. I don’t read a lot of nonfiction but take enjoyed the following for similar reasons:

Blood Royal by Eric Jager – about the assassination of the kings brother in 15th century Paris

Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe about the Troubles in Northern Ireland

Devil in the White City by Erik Larson about HH Holmes and the World’s Fair

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt about a murder in Savannah
