Hi! I recently got hooked on reading again as a result of the first Dune book. Unfortunately my parents won’t let me read the next Dune book because it is “too dark”. I’m looking for books like that that can pass the parent test (no witchcraft, nothing demonic, no adult content, etc.). Also no star wars since I am tired of that universe at the moment. Overall I just want a new universe like Star Wars and Dune, and I want some action with maybe a tad bit of romance on the side. Not enough to make it a girl book though! Boy books only, thx, lol.
