My mom and I are both advid readers, but the monthly subscriptions to apps that have now started to limit what can be read each month. My mom is a fast reader and can easily consume a book a day, so we are finding it very frustrating to be restricted on reading.
I have seen recommendations for the the app Libby. We live rurally and ars required to pay for a library card (still cheaper than the subscriptions) but the library also doesn't have a ton of books available. I am an online college student and, unfortunately, I don't see a way to connect my college library through the app.
I saw somewhere a reply about a library in Texas that allowed non-residents to have a card for a larger fee ($40/y) that connected and supposedly has a lot.
Does anyone know of a decent app (subscription or not) that allows unlimited reading of books? She's got Scribd, Everand, kindle unlimited (which never feels completely unlimited when youre still paying for books), and I think one other.
