Hi! So I’ve read everything by her. My favorite being “The Good Daughter”. I really love how she ties in her thrillers with the “strong” family bonds. Some of the elements I love about her books and have been struggling to find in other thrillers:
– sisterly/familial bonds
-fleshed out characters (SHE IS SO GOOD AT THIS IN MY OPINION)
-lawyer/detective (this is common in thrillers but im still gonna mention it)
-i enjoy the pacing of her books too
-dark and gritty
-rough side of town and realistic money struggles (i know some of her characters are rich but I think she portrays this really well)
Gillian Flynn’s book have come really close to scratching the itch and I’ve also read all of her work too because she’s phenomenal. I think Lisa jewel is ok so please none of her books as I’ve also read most of hers. I also couldn’t get into the Dublin squad series by Tana French :/
So any suggestions with these elements ?? Thank you so much.
