I’m in a major reading slump and I need something that’s going to completely mess with my head. I feel like I’ve already hit the "classic" mind-benders like Dark Matter or Piranesi, and I’m looking for something fresh, maybe a 2026 release or a hidden gem that hasn't blown up yet.
I just heard about "Yesteryear" by Caro Claire Burke and "The Ending Writes Itself" by Evelyn Clarke, but I’m not sure if they’re actually "unputdownable" or just well-marketed. I want that feeling where you look up from the page and realize two hours have passed.
