And I keep having to stop because the plot of the knights needing to discover the secret oaths is reminding me so much of a plot from magic treehouse that I read when I was six, where the two main characters have to find a series of magic objects that represented lessons or ideals they had learned.
Every time kaladin learns some life lesson and discovers a new oath, or references one of his oaths I remember magic tree house and I have to put the book down because the plot becomes so funny instead of serious.

Might want to steer clear of the fantasy genre if magic systems make you feel like it’s a kids story
that’s a wild comparison, but honestly, i can kinda see it lol. kaladin’s journey is deep, but it’s always great when a childhood book sneaks back into your head like that.
