I need a book where FMC can’t be with the man she loves and is forced to marry another man that wants her. A unrequited love that turns to mutual love. Would like to read a book with forced/arranged marriage. Maybe a bit of an age gap. No instant love or instant physical intimacy. She tries to keep to herself and that makes him upset.
I just finished Like Water for Chocolate and need a better ending. I’ve already read and seen The Painted Veil.
