I recently posted and read through quite a few suggested books to me (thank you for all of them!), but I've reached a block.
The two series I just finished were The Iron Dragon's Daughter and Monsters of Faery, I enjoyed both immensely, but I think I need a step back from heavy romance and in-depth fantasy. Maybe a little less world-building y'know?
I'm thinking something along the lines of Wings of Fire, Eragon, and the later books of ACOTAR. Think dragons and magic and just enough romance, y'know? I don't care for spice (I'll read it, but I'm not entirely there for it anymore), and preferably something slowburn, if possible. Maybe even Sci-Fi, something like The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, though I prefer fantasy.
