Going to a pop-up bookshop in tomorrow.
I’m planning on bulking up the shelf a little bit so I’m open to recommendations.
I’ve a read a few over the years, just give y’all a ballpark idea of what I’m into, my faves have been;
The Acid House by Irvine Welsh
High-Rise by JG Ballard (loving a few of his books)
Naked Lunch by William S Burroughs
Currently reading The Dirty Havana Trilogy by Pedro Juan Gutiérrez.
So predominantly surreal, dark and pretty f****d up themes is my thing but wouldn’t mind self-help books with themes of grief and winter blues either.
