I’m looking for a novel that really leans into the idea of an “evil” family (maybe cause the family of my wife) not in a cartoonish way but something more subtle, disturbing, or psychologically intense. The kind where the family dynamic itself is the problem.
If you’ve read something where the family feels genuinely off or unsettling in a lasting way, drop the title.
