I’m hoping to find some recommendations as per the title – I read the book recently ahead of the adaptation but am interested in finding a few more books similar to keep the vibe going for a little while
Been meaning to check that one out since I heard about adaptation coming. What specifically did you like about it – the Jane Austen reimagining angle or more the character development side?
I picked up “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” last month and it has similar vibes with strong female protagonist dealing with family expectations, just different time period. Also “Hamnet” by Maggie O’Farrell might work if you’re into the historical fiction with focus on overlooked women in history. The writing style reminded me lot of what I’ve heard about Bennet Sister book.
Photography gigs give me plenty audiobook time so I’ve been going through bunch of similar titles lately. “The Invisible Bridge” is another good one that explores family dynamics in really compelling way
