pretty much what the title says. no dark romance please. feeling horrible right now and i genuinely need to see some good media representation in which my disorder isn't villainized. pleaseeeee let the bpd girls have some love
My wife deals with similar stuff and she really loved “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” – the main character has some intense emotional patterns that felt really authentic to her without being portrayed as evil or manipulative. Also “Beach Read” by Emily Henry has a protagonist who struggles with mental health in ways that reminded her of her own experiences, though its more anxiety focused
I know you said no dark romance but “People We Meet in Vacation” might work too – the female lead has this pattern of intense relationships and fear of abandonment that my wife said felt very real to her experience. The author doesnt make her the villain of her own story which seems like what youre looking for
Hope you find something good and take care of yourself
