For context, I love reading, but many books that seem interesting just happen to be overly sexual for my liking. What are various popular genres and books which don't focus on explicit scenes, but at most just a few brief "closed door" moments? Some classics I love that I recently read include the portrait of dorian gray, to kill a mockingbird, forrest gump, while some more modern books that I liked are The hunger games, the percy Jackson series and the infernal devices. I want to check out various genres to figure out what's my favorite and prefer something that isn't like the glass throne, haunting adeline, icebreaker, anything by Colleen hoover, that kind of books. (P.S. Light romance is also okay, as long as it has a focus other than sex scenes. Personally, I really liked the fault in our stars)
