Just finished Sharp Objects. Yes, I know, I’m late to this tea party. But I’m well versed with Gillian Flynn’s writing so this book was a tad bit disappointing. I’m not sure how I feel about slow burn books. Slow burn TV shows, on the other hand, I’ll devour hastily.
As a result, I’m on the hunt for gripping thriller novels, with sharp turns and twists. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed David Baldacci and Dan Brown in the past. Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (dare I say, I haven’t found a book this captivating) was one I finished in a stretch a few years ago, leaving my eyes burning with all the crying- just to give yous a glimpse of what truly interests me.
