I am usually not a reader. generally I hate reading books but I needed some form of entertainment while traveling to and home from school, and my school doesn’t allow phones. I used to crochet for while travelling, but lately I feel sick crocheting in transport. so I picked up this book the other day. LET ME TELL U IT PULLED. ME. IN. I finished the 400 page book in TWO DAYS. please suggest me some addicting books like this. I have read like 4 books in my entire lifetime, and this one was so
good I have no clue what to read next. also, I don’t mind books with mature themes. you might feel I want to read something light because well I go to school im a teenager, but I just want to read something addicting.

I loved this book so much. In thriller the family upstairs by Lisa Jewel is a great read. If you want something cozy a man called ove. Anything from Elizabeth strout is good… maybe start with Olive Kittridge or My name is Lucy Barton… but these are all totally different styles. I haven’t found anything like that book
The Three Lives of Cate Kay, Did You Hear About Kitty Karr. Both felt very similar to Evelyn Hugo to me
Maybe stick with Taylor Jenkins Reid. I haven’t found a book by her that I didn’t love.
Taylor Jenkins Reid is great. Emily Henry’s “Great Big Beautiful Life” is a similar story.
Malibu Rising is my favorite of her books. There are four books of her that have crossovers, that one, Evelyn Hugo, Carrie Soto is Back and Daisy Jones and the Six. It’s fun to watch for the Easter Eggs!
This book stayed with me. It was fantastic. I think about it all the time
Others have mentioned TJR has written crossovers characters in some of her books. I’m in a ladies of the family book club and we decided to read the books with crossover characters. All of us devoured them. If you want to read them within the fictional timeline it’s:
Evelyn Hugo
Daisy Jones and The Six
Malibu Rising
Carrie Soto is Back
Im so glad people love this book vc I CRIED. Otherwise, I can recommend anything from Fredrik Backman, the man is amazing, his writing is so well done and flows smoothly and just pulls you in the story. Also, Howls Moving Castle is good as well.
