I really want to get back into reading but I’m not sure what books to go for.

In the past I’ve liked auto-biographies and biographies and diary style books. I loved Jaqueline Wilson books as a kid.

I just feel very lost in trying to find something that’ll get me back into reading.

    1. Find out which of your favorite movies or shows were based on a book and read one of them.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon – it’s a quick, easy read, it is in that space that bridges young adult and adult novels, and it’s written in a first-person journal style.

    3. I’m Glad my Mom Died (memoir)

      Greenlights, Matthew McConaughey

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

      Crying in HMart

I recommend the Murderbot Diaries series. First book is “All Systems Red,” author is Martha Wells. It is a sci-fi series. The first few books are not too long, and the characters are great.

Lady of The Army: The Life of Mrs. George S. Patton.

ā€œA masterpiece of seminal research, Lady of the Army is an extraordinary, detailed, and unique biography of a remarkable woman married to a now legendary American military leader in both World War I and World War II.ā€

*Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman* is a collection of autobiographical anecdotes about Richard Feynman, the Nobel prize winning physicist and educator. There isn’t actually a lot about physics here, instead you get interesting tales from his work on the Manhattan project, his time playing with a samba band in Brazil, and much more.
