I want a book about a likable cast that are apart of a large high-tech company/organization, and start suspecting there is something off about it. I would prefer that the Sci-fi elements are semi believable and contained to just the entity, the rest of society should essentially be the same as in real life. I would also like if the organization had a long detailed history.

You might want to check The Circle by Dave Eggers – big tech company with employees slowly realizing how dystopian it gets, and the sci-fi stuff feels pretty believable since it’s mostly just advanced social media tech.
