Looking for magical realism books with a subplot of romance. A few books I’ve read and enjoyed were The Night Circus, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and The Ministry of Time. TNC is my favorite of the three but TILOAL is a reallyyyyyy close second! Bonus points if it makes me really feel something or cry lol

I can’t stand magical realism and feel it should be banned, but I liked this:
The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins
Which I think is magical realism though like the whole cursed genre it depends on how you look at it.
Ink Blood Sister Scribe was good, along with The Unmaking of June Farrow.
Have you read anything by Ashley Poston? Most of her books have elements of magical realism
Maybe any of Anna McLemore’s books?
