I'm interested in improving my ability to think through problems and solutions logically and to convey that argumentation in a strong and organized manner. I'm also interested in developing critical thinking and analytical skills in general.
I've been drawn to books intended for lawyers for some reason (to me a good lawyer's speech/writing seems to be a sort of pinnacle argumentation), and I came across Speak LIke a Lawyer: Write Like a Lawyer, which is a really nice title, but I couldn't really tell what the book was actually about and the reviews on Amazon seemed fake/very vague. The book is also very new (published 2024), and I find that I like older books.
Has anyone read this book? Suggestions for what I should read?
