I have a dear friend who is suffering from anxiety due to having a husband who is declining in assisted care, who had to sell her house and downsize, who is lonely and trying to reorganize, etc. She is very writing oriented, she wants to write down every detail of things to do, etc. She also still works full time (remotely) to help cover the costs of her husband's care, etc. She is a reader, and I would love to find a book that would help her relax, or, a book that addresses ways to reduce anxiety in general. She would appreciate a gift like that so much! The only book I know she has that at is at all related is the Daily Stoic, which she said was interesting, but didn't do much for her. Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions!

Not anxiety specifically but when I was going through a rough parch mentally, I found “Maybe You Should Talk To Someone” quite comforting and lighthearted/funny even though the subject is a therapist in practice and her own therapy.

I’d say No Bad Parts perhaps – by Schwartz. Totally different approach than most advice.
